Grace utilizes a rotational Sunday School method. Themes are 5 weeks in duration, and each class rotates through the various activities during that time. A class might find itself in the kitchen making biscuits for the animal shelter, or listening to stories, or enjoying a puppet performance. The theme for this year is “Most Certainly True” and the current rotation is focusing on “Count on the Commandments.” Classes are available for ages 3 through adults. The Confirmation Program is a two-year period of instruction in the fundamental teaching of Christianity. The study prepares confirmands to make a public confession of faith that they have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. First year students attend Confirmation Camp at Lutheridge in Ardin, NC during the summer and weekly instruction in the fall. In addition to monthly meetings with the pastor, second year students are assigned a mentor from the congregation who meets with them once a month to discuss their faith journey.

Monday Morning Bible Studies meet in room 127 each Monday at 10:00 am.

Several times a year, Pastor Damos offers an Inquirer’s Class for those interested in joining the church, or just wanting a refresher in Lutheranism. Call the church office for more information ((865) 483-3787).
