Youth

Baptismal Ministry
The Baptismal Ministry supports parents of babies with materials to enhance the introduction of their little ones to the family of God. It provides materials for use from birth to age 3 when children can start participating in Sunday School and VBS.

Bible Study for Kids
Bible study for kids is woven into Sunday School, youth groups, and confirmation classes.

Boy Scouts
Boy Scout Troop 224 was organized by and has been sponsored by Grace since April 29, 1952. It has been a very active group with an emphasis on high adventure trips. It has consistently provided service to Grace, including its annual assistance at the Pet Fest and Blessing and in collecting food from the community for our Food Pantry. It meets on Monday evenings.

Confirmation Instruction
Confirmation is a two-year program of biblical, historical, and doctrinal teaching that undergirds the Christian faith and its Lutheran expression. The program includes study, worship, fellowship, and service activities and weekends of Confirmation camp at Lutheridge. Those in the 7th grade or above who are willing to commit to the program are welcome to begin instruction. Please let the pastor know if your child will participate as a confirmand.

Early Communion Class
Children in 5th grade, in consultation with parents and Pastor regarding readiness, may be given instruction during Lent and take their first Communion on Maundy Thursday.

Sunday School
Sunday School for children and youth (ages 3 through high school) is held Sundays at 10:00 AM.

Youth Group
Seeds of Grace Youth (grades 7-12) meet regularly during the school year. Activities have included purchasing gifts for the Angel Tree, helping with Christmas and Easter food baskets, congregational Bible trivia pursuit night ad ping pong tournament, and Conference 6 gatherings.
